Following a chilly Halloween, November has landed with some decidedly harsh weather. Winter is here early and it looks like it is going to stay. With unusually heavy snows buffeting the isles, life has slowed to a crawl. It is all anyone can do to keep warm, and it is even worse for those without a home as the Hogsmeade refugees at Hogwarts still can’t go home—and how can the town hope to be rebuilt when it is buried in snow? Of course things must get done, but what sort of mischief can our enemies get up to when everyone is hiding inside?
Last but not least, here are some prompts for this month!

Hogwarts School for Witchcraft and Wizardry was attacked by Death Eaters in February 1980 and is currently closed for repairs. School has not reopened and students have been forced to study at home. Lately Albus Dumbledore has invited the refugees from Hogsmeade to shelter there.

St. Mungo’s Hospital is the premier healing institution in the United Kingdom. It is located in a rather innocuous old brick building and may be accessed by speaking to one of the mannequins in the shop windows of the dilapidated Purge and Dowse clothing store.

Anywhere that is not the UK. From France to America to China, this forum is fair game. Do keep in mind that apparition is dangerous across international boarders and is not recommended for great distances. Try a Portkey instead—or maybe one of those terrifying metal tubes the muggles use!
